What is often requested at the ceremony or event is gentle melodic background music to provide an ambiance as the guests arrive and assemble. You can be assured that the atmosphere will be part of your event but not overpowering in sound or volume. I will work with you on sound level so you are rest assured everything feels just right. If there is a certain tune that you would like to be played at your wedding or event, given enough notice, I will learn it just for you. (Please mention this at the time of booking, for song consideration).
My solo acoustic performance is done with an acoustic amplifier that is place right next to me and is not overpowering. I also have a looper pedal which I will play an acoustic rhythmic passage or chord progression into and then play melodically along side that passage or just solo guitar in an acoustic, Latin, classical, atmospheric new age jazz and south American feel.
If something different is wanted, I am happy to accommodate.
By request, I perform with other instrumentalists to complement my performance including flute, violin, cello, piano and more. The jazz trio or quartet is also available to set the mood for listening and dancing. Whether you are planning a large celebration or an intimate gathering, or anything in between, I can be of service to you.
