Prelude -- I start performing music shortly before guests arrive. The music is generally relaxed, beautiful and refined – setting a peaceful tone for the ceremony. A bit of a contemporary acoustic sound may be thrown in to work with your guests on occasion.
Processional -- Usually music to walk slowly to! Sometimes brides select to have separate pieces for themselves and the bridesmaids.
Recessional -- The most often associated with a feeling of joy and celebration. This is where the couple will either stay and enjoy the limelight or walk away together.
Reception – I have been asked to play into the cocktail hour or reception at many weddings, especially those that have the ceremony and reception at the same location. Usually I go more in the popular, Latin and jazz styles with a bit more upbeat and rhythmic sound to liven the mood and begin the transition to a DJ or Band (which I can custom build for you and contract as per discussion and based on the needs and size of your function).
If something different is wanted, I am happy to accommodate.
Also available are small trios or duos in an instrumental arranging of your choosing. Percussion, Vocal, Keyboard, Violin etc. are available upon request for small groups (other rates will apply for a group setting situation).
